1. Introduction
Bdozawa ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Bdozawa mobile and web application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains our data practices. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our App works.
2. No Account Required
Bdozawa does not require users to create an account, register, or log in to use the App. There is no sign-up process, no username, no password, and no profile creation. You can browse all content without any personal identification.
3. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from our users. This includes but is not limited to:
- No name, email, or phone number collection
- No device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No cookies or similar tracking technologies for user identification
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
4. Location Services (Optional)
The App may request access to your device's location to show nearby places and provide a better browsing experience. Location access is entirely optional. If you grant location permission:
- Your location is used only on-device to display nearby businesses.
- Your location is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
- No location history is stored or tracked.
If you deny or revoke location permission, you can still manually browse places by city. The App remains fully functional without location access.
5. Map and Routing Infrastructure
Map tiles and routing services in the App are powered entirely by KurdGeo Services, which is owned and operated by the same developer as Bdozawa. All map tiles and routing infrastructure are self-hosted on our own servers, covering only the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
No map or routing requests are sent to Google, Apple, Mapbox, or any other third-party map provider. No user data is collected, logged, or stored by these services. Map tile requests do not include any personally identifiable information.
6. Business Listings Data
The App displays publicly available business information submitted by business owners and representatives through a separate admin portal. This includes business names, addresses, phone numbers, operating hours, categories, images, and descriptions. This data is publicly visible to all users and does not constitute personal user data.
7. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store any personal user data, there is no user data at risk. Our business listing data is stored on our own servers with appropriate security measures.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the App is fully compliant with children's privacy requirements, including COPPA and similar regulations.
9. Your Rights
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. You have full control over your location permissions through your device settings at any time.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
